Villa Valentina - Zadar

All fine, but beach walk.

Staff very helpful, short walk to beach, nice quiet residential area, car pickup from/to airport, recommendations of interesting areas to visit.

Room basic, tv channels even satellite non English speaking, no hairdryer, no kettle, no phone.

Excellent view of the Zadar's bay, quite environment and near to the coast. Good value for money.

A little bit short of breakfast. Not recomendable for old people, lots of stairs.

The team's really good support. Clean rooms offered fine sunset views. Only a 10-minute walk to the beach. The breakfast was good. Definitely a cozy spot to unwind!

The staff went out of their way to help. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgable about the area.

Fantastic view from the well appointed top apartment over looking the old town and island. Great breakfast to match. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. Plently of car parking onsite.

A lift would be helpful.

Ana, who runs the Villa, is absolutely fantastic and goes out of her way to make sure all guests have a fabulous stay. She organised taxis for us from the airport, to our next destination and for the way back to the airport. She gave advice on where to eat and how to get about. The rooms were cleaned daily with new towels each morning. Great location 5 mins to the beach and a 25 minute walk or 5-10 min bus journey to the old town. Highly recommend the Villa Valentina.

Great Stay with Fine Views

The kitchenette was practical and saved us money. Breakfast was decent, though options were limited. It's a quick walk to lovely restaurants and the Old Town. Just be prepared for stairs if on the higher floors!

Anna Rogalo knows hospitality - a gem. Apartment 11 has two double beds, a small kitchen, ac that works brilliantly. Zadar is awesome.

Stayed 3 nights - absolutely satisfied.

We only had a short stay here but Anna gave us a very warm welcome and advised us were to go in Zadar. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had wished we were staying longer.

The location had a lovely sea view and the friendly hosts. Although the bathroom was smaller than expected, the overall comfort of the spacious room made up for it. It was about a 10-minute walk to the beach, which was nice.

Anna is a vivacious host full of passion about the tours she unrelentingly recommends. Her enthusiasm is not easily deterred, even in the face of rejection or genuine disinterest. The scope of tours offered is broad but strangely excluded the utterly stunning Plitvice Lakes. These lakes can be reached without the aid of a tour company by catching local buses. Anna's energetically promoted tour of the islands was booked by couple who, on return, were unable to unearth what was special about the tour. Anna has introduced a local transfer service to her units for 10 Euros (73 Kuna), because taxi drivers can take advantage of tourists and charge 30 Euros (219 Kuna). We never did ask why the sign on the rear of taxi's said '30 Kuna (4 Euros) for 5 Kms'. The accommodation was spotless, the staff lovely and it's only 5 kms from the centre of Zadar.

The hostess was very friendly and a great source of knowledge. Loved this hotel, it was a great value for the money. I wouldnt' change anything and definitely am thinking about going back!
